Consign With Us

How It Works

Woman shopping for high heeled shoes.

Step 1 - Select Your Items

We consign designer clothing, accessories and jewelry, as well as antique decor, art, and furniture. Items need to be current, cleaned, pressed, and in excellent condition. Items must be free of pet hair, fragrance, or any odors. The Vintage Key does not accept designer copies. We use a third-party authentication process for luxury accessories that ensures our shoppers are protected.

For clients who use a shipping service to send items to The Vintage Key, if there is any suspicion that the item(s) are counterfeit, we will contact the consignor to request a) proof of authenticity or b) proof of payment. For items determined to be counterfeit the consignor a) may request that the item(s) be returned to them at their expense or b) authorize The Vintage Key to dispose of item(s) in a timely manner.

Step 2 - Contract

Sign our Consignment Contract by downloading the document and emailing the signed copy to info@thevintagekey.shop. We will not begin the listing process until we receive the signed agreement. Once we receive the contract, we will contact you about your pieces. If you are local to Dallas, we can accommodate a local pickup. If you are not local to Dallas, we will send you shipping instructions for your items.

Step 3 - Get Paid

We offer the most competitive consignment rates available.

Final sale price is defined as the price sold, not including sales tax, the item processing fee, or the shipping fee. An item processing fee is assigned to all items at the time of consignment, and is paid by the purchaser at the time the item is sold.

Monthly consignor checks are mailed to the address we have on file, and it is the sole responsibility of the consignor to provide The Vintage Key with any updated contact information for the account.  In the case of a reissued check, those monies will be paid in the next monthly check run, and the consignor is responsible for canceled check fees.
